Final Walkthrough Checklist:

A final walkthrough checklist is a document used by the property owner or their representative to inspect and verify the completion and quality of the construction work prior to final acceptance and payment. The checklist typically includes a comprehensive list of items to be reviewed, such as the functionality of systems and equipment, the finish and appearance of surfaces and fixtures, the cleanliness and safety of the site, and the conformance with the contract documents and applicable codes and standards. The checklist may also include space for notes, comments, and deficiencies to be corrected by the contractor. The purpose of a final walkthrough checklist is to ensure that the project is complete and ready for occupancy, to identify and document any remaining issues or punch list items, and to provide a basis for the final approval and closeout of the contract.
