Code of Conduct

A code of conduct is a document that sets forth the ethical and behavioral standards expected of a corporation’s directors, officers, and employees. It typically covers topics such as conflicts of interest, confidentiality, insider trading, discrimination and harassment, and compliance with laws and regulations. The code may also include provisions related to the use of company resources, the acceptance of gifts and entertainment, and the reporting of misconduct or violations of the code. The purpose of a code of conduct is to promote a culture of integrity and accountability within the corporation, and to provide guidance to individuals on how to navigate ethical dilemmas and make sound decisions. The code should be regularly reviewed and updated to ensure it remains relevant and effective, and should be communicated and enforced consistently throughout the organization.
