Discovery Requests
Discovery Requests
Discovery requests are legal documents used by parties in a lawsuit to obtain information and evidence from the opposing side. These requests can take various forms, such as interrogatories (written questions), requests for production of documents, or requests for admissions. The purpose of discovery is to allow parties to gather relevant information, narrow down issues, and prepare for trial. Discovery requests must be relevant to the case and not overly burdensome. Parties are generally required to respond to discovery requests within a specified time frame.
