If the beneficiary has served in the military, their military records may be submitted with Form I-130. These records may include discharge papers, service awards, or other documentation of their military service. In immigration court proceedings, military records may be relevant to establishing the respondent’s eligibility for certain forms of relief, such as cancellation of removal or naturalization based on military service.
