Notices of Action (Form I-797)

Notices of Action (Form I-797) are issued by USCIS to communicate important information about a foreign national’s immigration case, such as receipt notices, approval notices, or requests for evidence. In immigration court proceedings, relevant Form I-797s may be submitted as evidence of the respondent’s immigration history and the status of any pending applications.
