Adoption Documents (if applicable)

If the beneficiary is the adopted child of the petitioner, adoption documents must be submitted with Form I-130. These documents may include the adoption decree, evidence of the child’s orphan status, and proof that the adoption complies with the laws of both the United States and the child’s country of origin.
