In some cases, USCIS may require DNA testing to establish the biological relationship between the petitioner and the beneficiary. This may occur when other forms of evidence are insufficient or when there are concerns about the authenticity of the claimed relationship. In immigration court proceedings, DNA test results may be submitted as conclusive evidence of the respondent’s qualifying relationship to the petitioner.
