For individuals who have exceptional ability in their field, which significantly benefits the U.S. economy, cultural, or educational interests.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must demonstrate a degree of expertise significantly above that ordinarily encountered in the field.

Requirements:

  • Must provide evidence of exceptional ability through documentation such as awards, memberships in professional organizations, or publications.
  • A job offer and labor certification are typically required unless applying for a national interest waiver.
