Expert Witness Reports (if applicable)
Expert Witness Reports (if applicable)
Expert witness reports are written opinions prepared by individuals with specialized knowledge or expertise relevant to the case. In immigration court proceedings, expert witnesses may be called to testify on a variety of topics, such as country conditions, medical or psychological issues, or cultural practices. The expert witness report should include the expert’s qualifications, the basis for their opinion, and a detailed analysis of the relevant issues. These reports must be submitted to the court and the government attorney in advance of the hearing to allow for proper preparation and cross-examination.
