Form G-28 (Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Accredited Representative)

Form G-28 is a notice filed by an attorney or accredited representative to inform USCIS of their representation of an applicant or petitioner in an immigration matter. The form authorizes the attorney or representative to receive information and notices on behalf of their client and to act on their behalf before USCIS. Form G-28 must be signed by both the attorney or representative and the client and is typically filed with the initial application or petition or when a new attorney or representative assumes representation of the client.
